"I want to become a nurse to care for and uplift people in their most difficult moments, especially underrepresented communities. Nurses not only provide excellent care for their patients but also empower them. As a daughter of Colombian immigrants and growing up in a majority Latin neighborhood, I've witnessed the inequities in healthcare for these populations and want to be a voice for change and an advocate for these families. I also have a passion for traveling and becoming a travel nurse will combine these passions!"
