I chose nursing because of the huge impact it has on our community. As a muslim woman of color, I want to be an advocate for those who are underrepresented in the US healthcare systems. By embracing diversity and inclusivity in healthcare, my aim as I pursue my career in nursing is to empower individuals from all backgrounds to receive equitable and compassionate care.
