Faculty Workshop Series
Nursing Faculty face unique challenges within the world of research. The Office of Research and Scholarship provides capacity building workshops tailored to these unique challenges, covering topics such as finding sources of funding, building research teams, and navigating the research process from the faculty perspective.
ORS Speaker Series
Throughout the academic year, the Office of Research and Scholarship hosts a series of research presentations featuring speakers from on and off campus, with the aim of highlighting impactful research and building connections for the EMCON community. Presentations are hosted in Skinner Hall, and operate in a hybrid format, with zoom access available for those who are unable to attend in person.
Active Research Clusters
Research at its best is a collaborative process. To help our faculty reach their research goals, the Office of Research and scholarship supports multiple active research clusters, each of which focuses on a different discipline within the College of Nursing. The clusters function as incubators for research, providing faculty with an opportunity to gather, discuss new or ongoing proposals, and find opportunities to collaborate through their scholarly work.
Below you’ll find a list of the current active research clusters at EMCoN.
