Doctor of Nursing Practice scholarly projects
The DNP practice doctorate is distinguished by the completion of a scholarly project that sets the underpinnings for further scholarship. DNP graduates define actual and emerging health problems and design and translate evidence based health interventions through practice change projects. Our DNP students include experienced nurses seeking Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification, Public Health Leaders and Post Masters students who have been advanced practice nurses and have recognized problems they want to address to improve care and population health outcomes.
