Innovating Long-Term Care: Contributing to a More Inclusive Residential Long-Term Care System in a Post-Pandemic World
PI: Michael Lepore
About
This global project promotes inclusive innovation in long-term care, ensuring recovery and resilience efforts reflect the real needs of residents, caregivers, and staff.
This international project aims to support the COVID-19 recovery and long-term resilience of the long-term care (LTC) sector by promoting innovations that reduce inequalities and reflect the real needs of older adults, family caregivers, and staff. The focus is on creating more inclusive approaches to innovation in LTC, grounded in diverse social, political, and cultural contexts. The overall aim is to ensure that future innovations in LTC are shaped by the voices of those most affected (residents, caregivers, and staff) so that care systems are more equitable, responsive, and resilient.
