Tamara is a compassionate and accomplished registered nurse with over 30 years of diverse experience spanning hematology/oncology, med-surg, geriatric med-psych, and community health. For the past 20 years, she has been a driving force in public health nursing at Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, a 16-town regional health district in north-central Massachusetts. Known for her strategic leadership, Tamara has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams, implemented innovative public health initiatives, and mentored the next generation of nurses. Tamara thrives on fostering collaboration and building meaningful connections to promote wellness. She is a member of the Governor’s Working Group to address the various impacts and challenges to health care in the Nashoba Valley following the closure of Nashoba Valley Medical Center.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys family time, supporting live music, the power of a great book and exploring nature with her spirited dog, Duke.
