Meg Burch is the program manager of the Public Health Nurse Consultant Program, a joint initiative between UMass Amherst and the Mass. Dept. of Public Health. Learn more.
Meg has worked primarily with the school health nursing practice area providing direct care and served most recently as a regional consultant for school nurses in western Massachusetts.
She is a strong advocate for ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities for school and public health nurses. Her background includes work as an occupational epidemiologist focused on exposures to perchloroethylene, silica tobacco and asbestos.
Meg serves on the western Massachusetts advisory board for the BIRCh (Behavioral Health Integrated Resources for Children) Project and the Behavioral Health Helpline (BHHL) and is a SME for BU SHIELDs Leadership Series.
