Professor DuBois teaches in the undergraduate and accelerated second bachelor’s programs. Her clinical expertise is in women’s health, reproductive and family planning healthcare, and clinical simulation as a Certified Health Simulation Educator (CHSE).

Her PhD research focuses on enhancing simulation delivery methods to improve diverse patient representation, expanding the consistent application of ethical standards in simulation practices, and improving the clinical judgment of undergraduate nursing students.

She is a member of the Sigma Beta Zeta at-Large Chapter and Sigma Theta Tau International.
