Prior to her current Graduate Placement Coordinator position, Katy was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the EMCON from 2012-2017 and previously taught as an adjunct for over twenty years at various local colleges. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse working in a variety of acute care settings. After obtaining her Advanced Practice Nursing License and ANCC certification in 2000, Katy worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for several years in school-based, college and occupational health clinics.
