About
Katharine Green, PhD, FACNM, is a clinical associate professor who teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs at the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing.
Dr. Green has served as the past chair of the National Government Affairs Committee and as the legislative liaison for Massachusetts. She founded a teaching caucus for the American College of Nurse Midwives and has been an expert panel member on interprofessional education in women’s health for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), as well as on state and regional committees focused on women’s health and nursing education. Her interests include maternal outcomes, nursing education, and women’s health care policy.
Dr. Green has presented nationally and internationally on a variety of subjects, including policy and politics related to women’s health care, a guide for prenatal care for women’s health practitioners, theater in nursing education, and postpartum depression.
