About
Gina Grabowski, MSN, RN, CHSE, is faculty and director of the Nursing Simulation Lab at the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing. She is a proud alumna of UMass, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She holds a Master of Science with a specialty in Nursing Education from Sacred Heart University and is currently completing her PhD in nursing at UMass.
Her research focuses on evaluating the competency and clinical judgment of nursing students using simulation.
Gina has been teaching in academia since 2018. Her teaching experience includes coordinating and teaching Adult Medical/Surgical, Mental Health Nursing, Senior Internship, and Health and Physical Assessment courses, in addition to facilitating skills labs and simulations for multiple clinical courses. Her clinical expertise includes over 20 years of experience as an oncology nurse.
She is dedicated to the simulation lab and highly values the learning experiences that simulation provides for students.
