Brenda Fionte

Brenda Fionte is a full-time clinical instructor who has been teaching at the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing for over five years in both the traditional and accelerated undergraduate degree programs.

Courses she has taught include N150 Faculty Seminar for First-Year Nursing Students; N398E Principles of Nursing Care Practicum; N407 Principles of Nursing Care Practicum; N433 Nursing Care of Adults: Chronic; N437 Comprehensive Nursing Practicum; N498C Nursing Care of Adults Practicum; and N498 Clinical Internship.

In addition to teaching, Brenda has been involved in multiple college committees and workgroups, currently serving on the Faculty Student Matters Committee and the New Course Development Workgroup.

Outside of her faculty role, Brenda has been a practicing medical-surgical nurse for nine years, most recently working on the telemetry unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
