Tools & Equipment Areas

A list of tools & equipment areas in the makerspace.
Note: This is not an exhaustive list! We're always adding to the makerspace, so please visit to learn more.

Tools & Equipment Main Areas

  • Sewing: dress forms, sewing machines, sergers, an embroidery machine, materials, and general tools and accessories
  • Electronics: multimeters, soldering and hot air rework stations, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and a very large collection of parts
  • 3D printing (fused deposition modeling): A large collection of printers, including those with support for multi-material printing, enclosed printing, and large format 3d printing
  • 3D printing (stereolithography): A small collection of resin printers and post-processing stations.
  • Laser cutting (coming back online Spring 2024)
  • Machine shop: Drill press, bandsaw, bench grinder, cold saw, belt and disc sander, manual mill, CNC mill, CNC lathe, fastener library, and a large collection of hand tools
  • Wood shop: table saw, drill press, scroll saw, planer, jointer, miter saw, router, many types of sanders, and a large collection of powered and unpowered hand tools. Coming soon: CNC router.
  • Hot work area: MIG and TIG welder, plasma cutter (CNC and manual)
  • Outdoors area: An anvil and propane forge.
  • Other: Vinyl cutter, laminator, tracing light box, vacuum chamber, and many more items not listed here.
