Food Science Strategic Research Alliance (SRA) offers industry partners close collaboration with faculty, the latest research results, and access to the Food Processing Pilot Plant.

UMass Innovation Institute (UMII)
UMass Innovation Institute (UMII) promotes and coordinates industry collaboration of all types with faculty in all departments at the university, and administers industry-sponsored research activities on our campus. UMII works regionally and statewide on technology-based economic development with industry partners, the state, and non-profit organizations, where UMass Amherst can provide science and technology content for innovation and growth in the private sector.
Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS)
Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS) works in close collaboration with industry partners to combine the best in academic innovation with an industry-like focus on delivering commercially significant product candidates, services, and technologies over a defined timeline. IALS is product focused, interdisciplinary, collaborative, outward looking, and entrepreneurial. It is the catalyst for applied life science programs on campus, and seeks to collaborate with partners in healthcare/precision manufacturing/IT industries, disease-related foundations, and government agencies.
