Music and Dance Department
The Department of Music and Dance presents the Jazz Ensemble I & Studio Orchestra directed by Jeffrey W. Holmes. The program will feature a wide range of music including an epic big band arrangement of Emerson, Lake & Palmer's "Tarkus" arranged by Dylan Walter '23, Holmes' arrangement of Somewhere Over the Rainbow featuring Matt Padula '22 on bari sax, new works by graduate students Mark Walker and Andrew Wilcox, as well as music by Oliver Nelson, Yusef Lateef and the Turtle Island String Quartet.
