Reduce your stress

In troubled healthcare and academic settings, nurses are often the ones caring for others—students, patients, colleagues—while navigating high levels of stress, responsibility, and emotional labor. But just like the guidance on airplanes, nurses must “put on their own oxygen mask first” to sustain their ability to make changes in systems and to support others.

The RISE® program offers a powerful opportunity for nursing students, faculty, and staff to:

  • Reconnect with their purpose and values.
  • Build emotional resilience and prevent burnout.
  • Strengthen interpersonal connection and community belonging.
  • By integrating mindfulness, movement, and positive psychology, RISE® helps  cultivate clarity, compassion, and balance—essential qualities for thriving in both clinical and academic environments. This program supports a culture of wellbeing where care begins with the caregiver.
  • Enhance clarity, decision-making, and work/life balance.

Why attend?

Participants of RISE® report up to a 32 percent reduction in perceived stress, plus boosts in mindfulness, empowerment, and resilience. You'll finish the program improving how you:

  • Build sustainable resilience in high-stress environments.
  • Draw on practical, research-based tools for personal and professional well-being.
  • Experience transformation at multiple levels - personally, professionally, and within your environment.
