The Online Certificate in Professional Translation and Interpreting is designed for students with high proficiency (native or near-native fluency) in English and at least one spoken Language Other Than English (LOTE) who are interested in developing translation and interpreting skills to meet the needs of an increasingly globalized world. 

With a carefully designed curriculum, using an advanced online learning management system and different types of online education platforms, our 15-credit Online Certificate in Professional Translation and Interpreting is designed to be completed in one year or at your own pace. 

Multilingual Courses 

All courses are multilingual, which means you will always have classmates from different languages and cultures in the same online classroom. Coursework will be done in English, and translation and interpreting exercises in the students’ language pairs. Currently, students have worked with 18 languages including Arabic, Mandarin, Farsi, Spanish, Russian, and more. 

This certificate program is empowering beyond just education. Its structure and elements provide an endless foundation of support for all individuals.
