Focused on developing the administrative and interpersonal skills needed to excel in a higher education leadership role, the five-course Leadership & Administration Graduate Certificate is a mix of theory and practice. You’ll learn to become a better listener, recognize opportunities, and make a meaningful impact, whether as an administrator, faculty member, researcher, policy analyst, or student affairs professional. Courses can be tailored toward community college leaders and educators in the community college track.
Our M.Ed. in Higher Education online program is designed with the busy professional in mind. Our students already work in higher education or an adjacent field and typically have several years of experience in positions such as academic advisor, financial aid counselor, or cultural center director. All fifteen credits from the Leadership & Administration Graduate Certificate can be applied towards any of our higher education master’s or doctoral degrees.
