Dominick Usher

I have worked in academic advising and admissions/enrollment positions for almost 20 years. I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY and started my career in higher education in New York City, working at NYU (Business and Social Work programs), Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) and the Bard Graduate Center (Decorative Arts, Design History & Material Culture). As a UMass alum and first-generation student, I was always interested in returning to my alma mater to continue my career and share my experiences with students. Prior to becoming the senior assistant dean, I worked in academic advising at UMass since 2014 in Commonwealth Honors College, the School of Public Health & Health Sciences, and the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences.
