Education Minor
As of Spring 2023, all students will follow the new Education minor detailed below.
New Education Minor Curriculum
Open to any current UMass student. All students will follow the new Education minor curriculum, which consists of five courses (minimum 15 credits):

One Course in the Social Justice Domain

Three Electives
Please refer to the curriculum sheet for course options. No courses outside of the Education minor approved curriculum at UMass Amherst will be considered, including independent studies, transfer credit and study abroad courses. All courses must be taken for credit.
To declare, please complete the Education minor declaration form once you are in your final minor course.
Education Minor Advising
For questions about the Education minor, please stop by the Education Advising Center (W144 Furcolo Hall). For students who were completing previous versions of the Education minor, courses will be grandfathered in.
