Vandenberg quoted in Newsweek article about risk of BPA in canned goods

Assistant Professor of Environmental Health Sciences Laura Vandenberg comments on a new study that finds drinking liquid from cans lined with bisphenol-A (BPA) raised blood pressure, a leading risk in heart disease. Vandenberg, who wasn't involved in the study, says she was surprised to see that exposures to beverages containing BPA would have a measurable effect on a health outcome like blood pressur and calls for more extensive study of the effect of BPA on human health.
