Scholastika Massawe

Scholastika Massawe, originally from Tanzania, is an educator with a Master’s in Linguistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She has extensive experience teaching languages and is currently working as a writing instructor in college writing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she is also a doctoral student in Language, Literacy, and Culture. Scholastika’s research interests focus on language policies in education, bilingual education, and social justice in post-colonial contexts. She is passionate about promoting inclusive and effective language instruction for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
