All new faculty and staff need to take an Introduction to Anti-Workplace Bullying workshop, jointly offered by Labor/Management Workplace Education and Workplace Learning & Development. You will learn how to define workplace bullying and the UMass/Amherst campus procedures and resources to address bullying and create a respectful workplace.

The Campus Climate Survey Staff Report that was distributed in April 2018 recommends trainings for staff members that encourage workplace peers to cultivate a more inclusive environment that increases understanding about different social identities, belonging, and respect. In this 1.5-hour workshop, we will look at ways that union members and UMass staff can talk about race, interrupt racism, and create a workplace culture that respects all employees and makes UMass a better place to work.— PSU Members Dan LaBonte and Leslie Fraser, facilitators
