In partnership with Residential Life and AFSCME Local 1776, we support the Maintainers to Trades training program.  This is a 45 week program, inclusive of in-class learning and on the job mentoring.  During the 2017-2018 cycle, six Maintainers were enrolled.  Since that time five of the six has been promoted.  Maintainers to Trades was inspired by our Community Works pre-apprenticeship program.  Indicative of interest, several years prior to 2017, we sponsored a workshop, Maintainers Who Might Be Interested in the Trades, 77 Maintainers attended.
