In partnership with the 1199 Upgrading and Training Fund, we teach workplace English to home healthcare workers in Springfield.  Upon passing an workplace English proficiency test, those workers then receive automatic pay increases.  This is a career ladder model at its most straight-forward: linking skills development to pay compensation.
