On April 1, 2025, the Jail Education Initiative hosted a roundtable conversation on We Grow the World Together: Parenting Toward Abolition (Haymarket Books, 2024). The event featured book contributors D'Marria Monday and Nadine Naber and co-editor Kim Wilson. It was moderated by JEI Director Laura Ciolkowski.
