Jia Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate from the W. E. B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research focuses on AfroChinese Literary and Cultural Studies, Feminist Studies, and Ethnic Studies.
