The Western Massachusetts Writing Project is a professional community of teachers. We are dedicated to providing a space for teachers to teach other teachers, as we all work towards improving student achievement and success. At WMWP, we offer a variety of programs and professional development, including a wide range of workshops and graduate courses, several summer institutes, two annual conferences, and youth writing programs. We hope to see you at our events!

“I just love the Writing Project because I can get all of these ideas that I can bring into my classroom the next day. Even just being part of the Summer Institute, I’ve already used so many things from the summer in my classroom. It’s made such a huge difference. I don’t know, I just love the Writing Project.”
