Teachers who write are the best teachers of writing! Spend some time this summer delving into your own personal writing projects with Kelly Norris, WMWP teacher-consultant and author of the memoir Too White coming August 2018. Participants will learn strategies for writing and revision, have time to explore a variety of genres, and enjoy a supportive atmosphere for writing and response. One graduate credit is available for this program at a cost of $147 (payable separately to UMass Continuing and Professional Education). Snacks and coffee/tea will be served.
Dates and Times: Tuesday - Thursday, July 17 -19, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (The room is available to 3 p.m. for those who want more time to write in a quiet space.)
Location: E370 South College, University of Massachusetts Amherst
Cost: $125 for the workhop, $20 additional for a three-day parking pass. As an alternative to driving to campus, please consider carpooling or using the PVTA bus system.
Credit: 22.5 PDPs for partiipants who complete a "finished" piece and reflection. 1 graduate credit available for an additional charge of $147 (paid seprately to UMass Amherst).
