Broadcast Training
Interested in having your own radio show here at WMUA?
WMUA's broadcast training program is the official way to become an on-air personality! Prospective DJs interested in having their own show at WMUA must be broadcast trained in order to apply for a radio show. Training sessions are currently being offered three times per semester. Each session is three weeks, where you meet once a week to learn about WMUA policies, our broadcasting equipment, and audio editing with our in-house software. Once trained, you will be able to record an audio demo and apply for a show in the next batch of applications.

Production Training
Interested in getting involved with WMUA production?
We make tons of PSA’s every week, and could always use help writing scripts, voicing and composing these announcements for various non-profit organizations around the Pioneer Valley and beyond!
If you are interested in helping create a PSA, or in learning how to use the Samplitude and Adobe Audition programs, you can email us or drop in during one of Production’s office hours.
