Chris McKenzie Willenbrock

Chris is an Employee & Organizational Development Specialist for Workplace Learning & Development. Chris has spent the last ten years working in higher education.

Originally from Memphis, TN, she began her career at UMass in 2005 as a Residence Director. She enjoyed working with students and living in the residence halls before moving into Human Resources for Residential Life as a Selection and Development Specialist. Her work has focused on creating and facilitating individual workshops, designing and implementing extended departmental trainings and retreats, and coordinating multiple recruitment and selection processes.

In addition to facilitating, Chris also enjoys writing and has had several articles published. Chris has an M.S. in Educational Psychology and Research from the University of Memphis. She has also been an instructor and course administrator in the School of Education. She considers herself a lifelong learner and plans to pursue her doctorate in the near future. In the community, Chris is an avid theater supporter, engaging in ventures both onstage and off. She serves on the Board for the Exit 7 Players in Ludlow and has performed with companies throughout Western Mass.
