Laura Ciolkowski has been awarded a grant from Women for UMass (WFUM) in support of her work with women incarcerated in the Western Massachusetts Regional Women's Correctional Center in Chicopee.  WFUM will support the launch of a literary-arts workshop and magazine production project that will be co-facilitated by Ciolkowski and a team of formerly incarcerated students.  The project will be run in two 5-week sessions and will be open to selected UMass students for participation.

WFUM is a network of UMass alumnae that supports a wide variety of programming and philanthropic efforts that center learning, leadership, and the strengths of our diverse community of 162,000+ UMass alumnae, faculty and students.
