We are happy to announce that the fist/women's symbol painted over 40 years ago by Dale Melcher and Arlene Avakian, was removed from the window in Bartlett Hall, framed and hung over in our beautiful new office in South College.  We sent out a letter asking for your help to pay for the expenses (we used UMass union labor along with a local glass shop!) and we raised about half of what it cost.  So, we still need help!  Our Dean, Julie Hayes, will match the first $1,000 in new donations to the fist.  Click on the "GIVE" link on our home page and write "fist" in the comments.  We appreciate any donation!
