Certificate Application & Other Forms
Completed applications for the certificiate should be submitted on the link below by March 1. Contact the office in W401 South College if you have trouble or have questions.
Certificate Application - Due on March 1, 2024
- Faculty writing recommendations for applicants to the graduate certificate in feminist studies, please forward your completed reference to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Faculty may also submit their recommendations on this Google Form. The selection committee looks to letters of reference for insight into the unique qualifications a student may possess, especially in relation to their interest in feminist analysis.
Course Tracking Form – A form that will help you track the courses that count towards the certificate.
Course Substitution Petition – Certificate students may petition to count one course taught by faculty who are not among core WGSS faculty or not listed in the WGSS course guide provided that 1) the course has substantial feminist content and/or is organized by a feminist approach to the course materials. Approval for counting such courses towards the Certificate is at the discretion of the Graduate Program Committee.
If you're interested in teaching in WGSS, our application process starts in February of each year. We prioritize certificate students when hiring graduate students to teach WGSS classes. Questions about the application process can be sent to Linda Hillenbrand. Applications to teach in WGSS for AY 2023-2024 are open now! Applications due on March 3.
