Partner Event: GLS Speaker - October 25th
The Department of Geosciences at UMass Amherst invites you to attend a special GLS speaker event this Friday, October 25th. Dr. C. Patrick Barrineau, Vice President at Coastal Science & Engineering, Inc., and a geographer with extensive experience in coastal geomorphology, will present his talk titled "One Hundred Years of Beach and Inlet Processes at a Mixed-Energy Tidal Inlet." Dr. Barrineau’s work focuses on coastal sediments, beach and dune processes, and landscape evolution.

Partner Event: Resource Economics Seminar - October 18th
The Department of Resource Economics at UMass Amherst invites you to attend their upcoming seminar this Friday, October 18th. The seminar will explore the valuation of surface water quality through recreation and real estate markets, with research applied to coastal areas in the U.S. including Puget Sound, Long Island Sound, and the Texas Gulf Coast.
