WRRC New Director Dr. Randhir holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University and is a sole author of a book on Watershed Management. He has 110 refereed articles in top journals and has received major grants from USDA, NSF, DOE, and MA EOEEA. He teaches courses in Watershed Science and Management, Water Resources Management and Policy, Advanced Watershed Science, Water Resources Sustainability, Blue Gold and World Water Wars, Ecosystem Modeling and Simulation, and Ecological Economics/ Sustainability. Dr. Randhir is a consultant with the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, the American Association of Advancement of Sciences, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the National Science Foundation, and the US Department of Agriculture.
His research extends worldwide, including Honduras, Columbia, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, El Salvador, eSwatini, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mongolia, Kirghizstan, Uganda, Turkey, Iran, Russia, China, India, and Indonesia. He is the President of the Southern New England Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society.
