The Delta Research and Extension Center (DREC) and Thad Cochran National Warmwater Aquaculture Center (TCNWAC) of Mississippi State University (MSU) is seeking applications for a full time, 12 month tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. This person will be involved in 100% research with opportunities for distance teaching if interested. The faculty member’s home department will be in Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture. Assistant Professor in Water Quality Management

The Department of Watershed Sciences at Utah State University (USU) is inviting applications for a full-time (12-month), tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in water quality management. Responsibilities will be distributed as 60% extension, 30% teaching, and 10% university/professional service. The position will be based at USU’s main campus in Logan, Utah, starting in August 2025. The successful candidate will develop and lead a statewide extension program focused on water quality management and collaborate with a range of stakeholders. The position may involve applied research to support the extension program, covering areas such as nonpoint source pollution, nutrient modeling, water quality remediation, and stormwater management.
