The mission of the Global Veterinary Fund (GVF) is to create a community that brings people of different backgrounds and skillsets together under the united mission to create a better world for animals and people alike. Currently, the GVF focuses on providing financial support to veterinary students, animal-focused organizations, and individuals facing veterinary care debt, while engaging with the community through meaningful, student-led projects and events. If you are interested to see exactly what they’re working on each week, the GVF meets every Wednesday at 7:30pm in Hasbrouck Lab, Addition room 113.
Frequently attending meetings will establish you as a voting member of the GVF and you can directly shape the direction of the organization at UMass Amherst! If you wish to be a part of the E-Board, you can submit your application here in this form.
