ANIML SCI 382L - Small Animal Nursing Lab

This laboratory will introduce hands-on skills commonly performed by veterinary professionals in a small
animal private practice setting such as writing-up and maintaining veterinary medical records, taking a patient
medical history and performing a patient physical assessment, proper restraint and handling of the canine and
feline patient, sampling and diagnostic techniques, identification and use of surgical instruments, maintaining
asepsis, and administration of first aid.
