ANIML SCI 362 - Veterinary Medical Terminology

This seminar course covers veterinary medical terminology with an emphasis on term origins, roots, prefixes, suffixes, and pronunciation. Other topics covered include abbreviations and symbols, terms used to describe animal anatomy, occupational terms and interpretation of medical reports and records. This course is suited to students planning to enter careers in veterinary medicine. This course is designed to meet the 1 credit Medical Terminology requirement of some veterinary medical schools.
