Vered Wiesel

Vered is a member of the Commonwealth Honors College studying biochemistry and molecular biology. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in medicine. Vered joined the Jerry Lab as a sophomore, in January 2019. She enjoys learning about the factors influencing breast cancer development and progression. Her thesis is exploring a possible mechanism for the differences in the effect of estrogen exposure on strains of mice.
