Madeleine Sookdeo

Madeleine is an undergraduate student in her third year at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is a biochemistry major in the College of Natural Sciences and a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. She is interested is mammalian reproduction and plans to go on to medical school after graduation and become an OBGYN. In Dr. Visconti’s lab, she will begin with investigating sperm metabolism and how this affects motility and other physiological features.
