Daniel Palenchar is a senior majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology (BMB), and nutrition. He is using the quantitative sequence method to determine the frequency of alleles which confer resistance to the pyrethroid insecticides in bed bugs collected from various regions of Israel. In his spare time Daniel enjoys cooking and reading his favorite peer reviewed journal, "Food and Chemical Toxicology".
