As of June 2015, Chelsea will be entering her fourth and final year of Veterinary Medical School at Western University of Health Sciences in southern California. Her hope is to obtain a rotating internship post-graduation and narrow down her areas of interest regarding what specific aspect of veterinary medicine she would like to practice. Although Chelsea does not have a current interest in research, she believes her three years spent in the Salicioni laboratory during her undergraduate years were extremely valuable. It is thanks to Dr. Ana Maria Salicioni's mentoring, and the support from the other Visconti lab members, that Chelsea was able to reach her dream of entering veterinary school.
