Xueting (Darren) Liang received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in medicine in China. He started his PhD career in the ABBS program in 2021. He investigates the role of non-coding RNAs in T cell homeostasis. Specifically, he works on let-7(miRNA)-mediated mechanisms that affect maintenance of naïve, effector, exhausted and memory CD8 T cells including cell survival, migration and proliferation. In addition, he is interested in thymic T cell development and egress mechanisms.
