Saida Safie is a departmental assistant and senior analyst at Massachusetts Pesticide Analysis Laboratory. For the past 15 years her work has included analysis of environmental samples including: animal tissues, bees, soil, water, sediment, and vegetation for pesticides residues. She utilizes analytical instrumentation such as GC/MSD and HPLC/TQD for the detection of the pesticides.
