Driven by a desire to help families facing fertility challenges, Lokesh's journey has led him to pursue a PhD in Animal Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences with a focus on the area of male fertility. Lokesh is fascinated by how these tiny sperm cells acquire their superpowers to create life, and he is dedicated to deciphering their secrets to improve assisted reproductive technologies.

Education and Experience:

Lokesh received his Master's degree in Reproductive Biology and Clinical Embryology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New . He secured admission through a national competition, which provided him with a potent blend of clinical and research expertise. His lab rotations in his master's program honed his skills in cytogenetics, cell biology, andrology, and IVF technologies. He presented his research at international and national conferences. Notably, his Master's project on sperm vitrification and its effect on sperm telomere length in male cancer patients was a pioneering study with significant implications for male fertility. The unique combination of clinical and research-based education fuels his passion for translational research in reproductive sciences, bridging the gap between scientific discovery and real-world solutions for unmet clinical needs. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Chandigarh University, India, and gained a foundation in molecular biology and genomics.

Area of Research Interest:

Unveiling the molecular mechanisms by which sperm gain fertilization potential.
Understanding the role of sperm signalling pathways in assisted reproductive technologies like IVF.

Lokesh is eager to contribute to advancements in fertility research, empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges on their path to parenthood.
