Jacqueline Vitiello
Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Arcaro Lab
Jacqueline Vitiello is a junior Biology major, who has been an undergraduate research assistant since January 2024. She plans to pursue a career in the biotechnology field. Specifically, to have a career in cancer research, with a focus on women’s health. She also would love to continue to work in cell culture, which she currently does in the lab.
Besides being a part of the lab, Jacqueline works for the Learning Resource Center on campus. Here, her role is a supplemental instructor for an introductory microbiology class. She really loves this role, specifically getting to mentor and assist in any academic challenges students in her class face. Helping others to learn has become something she is passionate about. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and family, and being a part of fun activities on campus like intramural sports teams.
