Caisey Sears

Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Arcaro Lab

Caisey Sears is a senior Pre-Veterinary Science major and has been working in the Arcaro Lab for three semesters. She is part of the team studying the Effects of Chronic Inflammation on ELF5 DNA Methylation in 76N-Tert cells. Caisey is excited to be attending veterinary school in the fall and is interested in mixed animal practice.

Caisey is a Boer Goat Teaching Assistant, where she enjoys direct hands-on work and teaching at the UMass Hadley Farm. She also enjoys her job as a Veterinary Assistant at a small animal general practice, where she gets to continue to participate in the application of her studies. In her free time, Caisey enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and her cat, Augustus.
