Adam earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees at UMass Amherst in Microbiology and Biology, and continued on to earn his MS in Microbiology at the Rich Lab studying Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative bacteria of Lyme disease. At present, he studies T cell immunology at the Pobezinsky Lab, focusing on untangling the fate decisions of CD8 T cells. He was recently awarded a NIH-funded Biotechnology Training Program Fellowship.
